Hoddom castle, though not in the Parish of Hoddom is on the banks of the River Annan.
There is a Kirkyard a short walk from the entrance to the caravan park.

Repentance tower is accessed by a moderate climb. Access to the interior of the tower is not possible.
Hoddom castle is now situated in a caravan park.Access to the castle is not permitted.
There is a picnic area on the corner close to the entrance of the park.
There are various walks which start at this point.

The castle at Hoddom was built in 1565 and was probably the largest and strongest tower built in this region.
