Gretna , The Lochmaben Stone is a megalith standing in a field, on the farm of Old Graitney, nearly a mile west of the Sark mouth on the Solway.

This stone has a lot of history attached to it connected with the Borders. It is an erregular, 7' high and weighs approximately ten tons. It is composed of weathered granite, exposed to severe glacial action.<br>  Dumfries & Galloway Scotland June 2008
